Background

  • Antimicobial Resistance (AMR) is one of the top three challanges facced by mankind today after climate change and terrorism. Globally, it is estimated that today 700,000 people die of resistance infections every year, and without aggressive action to combat AMR, the number will rise to 10 million lives a year by 2050.
